Crate Training Essentials: Step-by-Step Guide for Large Breed Puppies. Below is the gear list we'd actually buy, plus a quick routine so the gear gets used every day. Every product here supports crate & potty training practice with short, reward-based sessions and one clear command.
How to use it
- Set the space: Crate sized to stand and turn; bed, water and a chew.
- Make it great: Toss treats inside; feed meals near, then in the crate.
- Close briefly: Door shut seconds at a time, open before any fuss.
- Potty schedule: Out after waking, eating, play; reward right on the spot.
- Extend slowly: Add minutes as they settle; never use the crate as punishment.
